What happens when the sheep begin to resist the care of the shepherd? When what was meant for protection is seen as oppression, and guidance is mistaken for control? Worse, what happens when false shepherds lead the flock—not to green pastures, but toward harm, drawing them away into wandering and idolatry? In Zechariah 10–11, we are invited to see how God shepherds His people in the midst of this tension. In this sermon, we ask: How does God shepherd His people? We see His judgment on false shepherds, His promise to care for His flock, His warning to unwilling sheep, and ultimately, His provision of the True Shepherd—His Son.
