The goal is to reach our city with the Gospel in one generation.

A Sent People

For the past three months, we have seen how God’s promise of the future shapes His people—forming a repentant people, a truthful community, a Spirit-dependent church, a shepherded people, and a hopeful, witnessing community. As we come to the final chapter of Zechariah, we are reminded that this is not merely an ending, but a declaration of certainty. Our future is secure—a future that has already begun in the death, resurrection, and reign of Jesus Christ, and will one day be fully revealed when He returns. Because the Day of the Lord is coming, because Christ already reigns, and because the future is certain, we are called to live now with repentance, hope, courage, and faithful witness. Zechariah does not call us to disengage, but to live holy, worship-filled lives as citizens of the coming Kingdom. The question is not what will happen, but how we ought to live. In this sermon, we see three movements that shape our present obedience: a world broken, a world restored, and a world that worships.
