Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our Faith
The Christian life is not a short sprint, but a lifelong marathon that cannot be sustained by sheer human willpower or self-reliance. Grounded in the secure reality of what God has already accomplished throughout redemptive history, we are called to lay aside every clinging sin and distracting weight in order to run our appointed race with endurance. Our ultimate assurance does not rest on how tightly we hold onto our faith, but on the finished work and continual intercession of Jesus Christ, who pioneered our salvation and is faithfully holding onto us until the very end. When the trials of life tempt us to grow weary or turn back, the remedy is found not in looking inward, but in lifting our eyes upward to the Savior who endured the cross, despised its shame, and victoriously conquered the grave. Watch the full sermon now on our YouTube channel and discover how to find unshakable endurance by continually looking to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.
